Paige Drummond is engaged! The 24-year-old daughter of Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond is set to marry her boyfriend, David Andersen.
Paige’s sister, Alex Drummond, the eldest of the Drummond siblings, shared the exciting news on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 3.
“Engaged!” Alex wrote over a photo of Paige and David, which appeared to be taken after Andersen proposed.
In the photo, Paige is wearing a black top and a long white skirt, smiling widely as she shows off her new engagement ring. Andersen is also smiling, his arm around Paige, dressed in jeans, a white button-down shirt, and a navy blue jacket.
Fans of Pioneer Woman were first introduced to Andersen in January 2024 when Ree Drummond, 55, wrote a blog post about her family’s trip to Colorado. “Okay. I buried the lede. This is David. He’s Paige’s ‘friend.’
Not her friend, mind you,” she humorously noted in the caption of a photo featuring the couple.
“Her ‘friend.’ I won’t go into detail because that’s Paige’s place to do…but the smile on her face might give you some idea of how Paige feels about her new friend. I mean ‘friend.’ I mean, I’m going to stop writing this caption now!”
Paige has posted several Instagram photos with Andersen, who attended Ohio State University.
Recently, the couple was seen at the Cavalcade Rodeo in Osage County, Oklahoma, wearing cowboy hats, and earlier in July, Paige shared pictures from a wedding they attended with friends in Nashville, Tennessee.
One photo from the wedding weekend shows Paige holding a white bouquet, while Andersen stands beside her, suggesting she may have caught the bouquet tossed by the bride.
“Uh is that the bouquet?” Drummond joked in the comments. “I’m just taking a survey.”
This engagement is one of the recent updates from the extended Drummond family. Earlier this summer, Alex and her husband, Mauricio Scott, revealed they are expecting their first child.
The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary on May 1, used their Golden Retriever George to announce the baby’s sex in July.
Alex and Paige are also siblings to Bryce, 21, Jamar, 21, and Todd, 20.
