Who is Katie Maloney’s Boyfriend? Vanderpump Rule Star Drops Relationship Update

Katie Maloney, star of Vanderpump Rules, has found love once again. “I have a boyfriend,” the 37-year-old revealed on the Wednesday, October 16 episode of her podcast, Disrespectfully, which she co-hosts with Dayna Kathan. “Yeah, I’m in love, everybody. I’m really happy.”

While Maloney didn’t disclose her new boyfriend’s name, she shared some insight into their relationship.

“This weekend, I went to visit my boyfriend. He travels for work, so I went to meet up with him and spend time with him,” she said.

“It was really wonderful because I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks, and being able to spend quality time together was very needed and nice.”

Though keeping many details private, Maloney hinted that she might reveal more about her partner in the future.

“He’s the most amazing person I’ve ever met,” she said. “He’s incredibly lovely, makes me feel special, and he’s truly one-of-a-kind. I’m really happy.”

Maloney’s love life has garnered attention, particularly since her previous marriage to Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Schwartz. The pair were married from 2016 until their divorce in 2022.

“I never thought I’d have to make this kind of announcement, but I believe it’s important to be open about my life,” Maloney wrote on Instagram in March 2022.

“After 12 years of adventure together, Tom and I are ending our marriage. There’s no resentment or animosity—no sides to take. We have deep admiration for each other, which will always remain, and we cherish our friendship.”

Maloney filed for divorce in March 2022, and it was finalized by September of that year. The former couple continues to share custody of their dogs, Gordo and Butter.

“We’re hoping to get our house listed and sold in the next couple of months,” Maloney told in April 2022, adding that they were sorting out their next steps in terms of living arrangements.

Since their split, both Maloney and Schwartz have moved on romantically. Following a brief relationship with actor Satchel Clendenin, it is confirmed in July that Maloney had been seen with Love Island USA alum Connor Newsum.

Newsum, 28, appeared on the sixth season of the dating show on Peacock, which is hosted by Maloney’s close friend Ariana Madix.

However, Madix denied playing matchmaker for the couple during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, saying, “Katie is not dating anyone. I’ve never set her up with anyone.”

Maloney has not publicly commented on her rumored connection with Newsum. As for Schwartz, he briefly dated hairstylist Jo Wenberg after the divorce.
