Bobby Flay, the host of “Beat Bobby Flay,” opened up about his dating life following his recent breakup during the American Century Championship on July 10.
Flay, 59, confirmed his single status after his split from Christina PĂ©rez, which was reported in June after their three-year relationship ended.
When asked about his current dating situation, Flay told, “I’m just taking it easy right now. I don’t really have much to say about it. It’s still pretty new for me, and I’m just focusing on enjoying golf this week.”
This year marks Flay’s third appearance at the annual Lake Tahoe celebrity golf tournament, which takes place from July 12 to July 14.
Despite feeling a bit nervous, Flay expressed his excitement for the event, highlighting the beauty of the location and the opportunity to unwind outdoors amid his busy life.
“I love Lake Tahoe. It’s such a great week here. With everything going on in my life, it’s always refreshing to spend a few hours in such a beautiful place. It really takes you away,” he shared.
Flay, who is also known for his Food Network shows like “BBQ Brawl” and “Bobby’s Triple Threat,” recently premiered new episodes and is planning to travel to Paris later this month for the Olympics with his daughter, Sophie, 28, a seasoned community journalist with ABC7.
“She claimed the plus-one spot about two seconds after I got the invite,” Flay joked, expressing pride in Sophie’s accomplishments and character.
He also mentioned his upcoming coffee table book, “Chapter One,” set to be released in the fall, which will reflect on his culinary journey.
