During an interview with Dr. Chris Brown, 45, and Sonia Kruger, 58, Robert joked that he needed “a big make-up job” before stepping out on the red carpet.
This lighthearted comment was captured in a video obtained, showing his good spirits despite the earlier mishap.
According to the publication, when asked if was excited to be staying up so late, Irwin told them:
“I just came straight in from catching crocodiles up north.”
It was then that the star detailed his brush with death:
“I just got my head smashed into a tree.
“I was on a croc’s head, it was a big make-up job but I’m here, I’m excited and we are pumped and I get to do it with one of my best mates, which is awesome.”
Robert Irwin didn’t provide many details about his injuries but appeared to be in good spirits.
He kept his six million Instagram followers updated on his activities, showing resilience and positivity despite the incident.
His lighthearted attitude and quick recovery were evident as he attended the Logie Awards and interacted with fans and co-stars.
