His family confirmed his death to ABC News on a Saturday night, expressing their deep sorrow.

“He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.
The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.
“We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
Cameron Boyce was not only a talented actor but also a dedicated philanthropist. In recent years, he was actively involved in charity work, including introducing former Vice President Joe Biden at the Biden Courage Awards in March.
He was also honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award at the Thirst Gala, where he had raised $30,000 to support the Thirst Project’s efforts to provide clean drinking water in Swaziland.
Boyce began his acting career at a young age, making his debut in the horror film “Mirrors” when he was just 9 years old. He gained widespread recognition with his role in the Adam Sandler film “Grown Ups,” portraying one of Sandler’s children.
