Victoria Canal Refutes Romance Rumors with Tom Cruise, Highlights Upcoming Music Projects

Victoria Canal has addressed and refuted the rumors about her dating Tom Cruise. The rumors likely emerged due to speculation or misinformation, but Canal has clarified that there is no truth to these claims.

“Guys, this is literally bonkers, but apparently the tabloids think i am dating tom cruise. i’m deceased,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram statement Monday.

She also added a photo of herself covering her laughter with one hand as well as screengrabs of several tabloids reporting their alleged romance.

Victoria Canal, 25, acknowledged that while Tom Cruise, 62, is a “lovely person,” he is definitely not her boyfriend. She addressed and refuted the rumors circulating about their relationship.

“Let’s just stop this in its tracks – i’m sorry to bum u out but i am not dating the man, albeit a lovely person & artist,” she wrote. “lol never thought I would have to clarify that out loud in my life.”

Victoria Canal described Tom Cruise as a “respectful and encouraging person and mentor,” comparing him to her father, music teachers, and her other mentor, Chris Martin.

She emphasized that Cruise’s support has been akin to the guidance she has received from her close mentors.

“And again, i am friends with all kinds of people who are very different to me. you learn a lot if you’re open to life bringing you those teachers,” she wrote.

Victoria Canal used the occasion to promote her upcoming musical projects, which include new songs and a tour in Europe and North America.

She highlighted these upcoming endeavors while addressing the rumors about her relationship with Tom Cruise.

“And again, i am friends with all kinds of people who are very different to me. you learn a lot if you’re open to life bringing you those teachers,” she wrote.

Victoria Canal also took the chance to promote her upcoming musical projects, which include new songs and a tour across Europe and North America.

Tom Cruise and Victoria Canal sparked dating rumors after they met at the Glastonbury Festival in England earlier this summer. She performed on stage with Coldplay, while Cruise was seen watching the show from a VIP area.

“Tom invited Victoria to watch him film for the whole day and that is just not something he does for his random friends,” a source told the Sun.

“It might have seemed unlikely that they would become anything more than friends but they are pretty much inseparable.”
