Teyana Taylor’s Divorce From Iman Shumpert: End of Their Marriage

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have finalised their divorce, with a judge in Georgia’s Fulton County Court awarding Taylor four marital properties valued around $10 million.

In addition, she will keep her vehicles, jewelry, and ownership of her companies, “Taylormade” and “The Aunties.”

Iman Shumpert has been ordered to make a one-time seven-figure payment to Teyana Taylor and will retain his Miami condo, as well as properties in South Georgia and Decatur.

He is also required to pay $8,000 in monthly child support and cover private school fees for their two daughters.

Additionally, Shumpert will keep his share of investments in their business ventures, though the specifics of these investments have not been disclosed.

The news of Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s divorce emerged in September 2023, but legal documents show the divorce was filed in January of the same year.

Taylor accused Shumpert of “extreme emotional and mental abuse,” claiming his jealousy over her rising fame led her to intentionally downplay her career to maintain their marriage.

She also alleged that Shumpert discouraged her from working and later complained when she stopped pursuing opportunities after giving birth.

Two months after their divorce became public, Iman Shumpert issued a statement through his attorney expressing hope that all parties involved could work towards a fair resolution, with the children’s best interests being a primary concern.

Teyana Taylor and Shumpert married in 2016, following the birth of their eldest daughter, Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert, in 2015, and later welcomed their second daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, in 2020.
