Are Rudy and Elaine still together? Keep reading for more details and updates on their relationship.
In June 2024, rumors about a possible breakup between Rudy and Elaine began circulating on TikTok, but it seems the couple is still going strong!
In fact, the pair recently embarked on an adventure together, biking across Switzerland.
Elaine shared a picture of Rudy standing next to a motorcycle on July 2, along with several other beautiful photos on her Instagram. Her caption read: “motorcycle bf & nature gf.”
In October 2022, fans on Twitter speculated that Elaine had been unfaithful to Rudy after a now-viral post claimed she was seen kissing another man.
“On the 1st of last month Elaine was seen kissing another guy, who is obviously not Rudy. What do you think of that?” one fan wrote.
Elaine quickly addressed the rumors and shut them down in an Instagram Stories post.
“Y’all stupid as hell for thinking that’s me and also on the ‘1st of last month’ we were flying from Barbados to Italy so.
Please stop posting bulls–t narratives that you make up because you’re bored. It’s exhausting and embarrassing,” Elaine posted in October 2022.
She further added, “Also I pick my nails from anxiety so my hand for sure doesn’t look like that.”
Elaine appeared to confirm their relationship in November 2020 with an Instagram post where she referred to Rudy as one of “my loves” in the caption.
While they rarely post photos together and generally keep their relationship out of the public eye, Rudy has spoken out in defense of his girlfriend amid online hate and harassment.
In August 2021, Rudy took to Instagram to address the negative comments aimed at Elaine, denouncing the “disrespect and harassment” she has faced from fans.
“It has gotten to the degree where lies are being spread and accusations are being said that go beyond the normal ‘hate.’
Not only is she not what she is being accused of being, she is the complete opposite and actively is so.
Accusing someone you don’t know of being abusive and manipulative is not OK, especially when you don’t know the relationship personally,” Rudy shared.
“I’m very happy in the relationship I’m in. I know I might not actively show it on social platforms just how happy we are together, but this is my personal decision to keep most of those moments for myself.”
In his statement, the Outer Banks star urged those who were spreading negativity to stop.
“In this era of social engagement and enlightenment, I want to express the importance of spreading positivity and knowing when it is unfair to express your own distaste for something or someone, especially when you can do it behind an anonymous identity,” Rudy wrote, addressing the critics.
“I was always told the best version of yourself is your most humbled self. … I make this statement as my most humbled self and would be so grateful if we all would move forward in positivity and respect.”
Rudy’s message emphasized the need for kindness and understanding, particularly in the digital age, as he continues to protect his relationship from unwarranted scrutiny.
