Josh Hall has broken his silence on social media after filing for divorce from HGTV star Christina Hall. The former real estate professional, previously based in Austin, shared a photo on Wednesday afternoon of himself taking a walk in the woods.
His only caption was a praying hands emoji. During this reflective stroll, Josh was seen wearing a Lululemon t-shirt, a backwards baseball cap, and a gold chain.
Josh filed for divorce on July 15, citing “irreconcilable differences” and requesting spousal support from the Christina on the Coast star after nearly three years of marriage.
Christina responded with her own filing on July 24, outlining the real estate involved in the split and requesting that neither party be allowed to receive spousal support.
The interior designer had previously been married to her Flip or Flop co-host Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. Nearly a year after finalizing her divorce from El Moussa, she married Ant Anstead in December 2018, and their divorce was finalized in June 2021.
Josh was also previously married. He wed a woman named Chelsea in August 2016, but it is unclear when their marriage ended. Christina, the host of Christina in the Country, is a mother of three.
She shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with El Moussa, and welcomed her youngest, son Hudson, 4, with Anstead in September 2019.
Christina and Josh began dating around March 2021, but they waited a few months before making their relationship public. At the time, a source told they shared “an immediate, real connection.”
That summer, Christina addressed her love life on social media and spoke about her anxiety regarding sharing her relationship with the public.
“I may be a bit crazy and I’m definitely not perfect but I will never live my life based on other peoples’ judgments or opinions,” she wrote in a since-deleted post.
“We pride ourselves on never judging others and always wanting others to be happy and we wish others would have the same respect.”
She added, “So yes ‘another relationship’ and guess what. I’m 38 – I’ll do what I want.”
The couple announced their engagement in September 2021, and confirmed their marriage the following April. In Josh’s divorce filing, it was revealed they had secretly wed in October 2021.
Over Labor Day weekend in 2022, Josh and Christina celebrated their union again with an intimate ceremony in Hawaii on the island of Maui. She has since deleted their wedding photo from her Instagram page.
Since they got together, Josh has appeared on both of Christina’s HGTV shows and was set to be part of a new series, The Flip Off, alongside Christina, Tarek, and Tarek’s new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather Rae El Moussa.
The series, announced on May 15, would see the two couples competing in a house flipping competition.
Following their split, multiple sources told that Christina has resumed filming without Josh. HGTV has not officially commented on Josh’s involvement with the series.
