Kaitlyn Bristowe recently hinted at her romance with Zac Clark during an interview.
Although Bristowe, 39, mentioned that she would not discuss her current relationship, she shared several details about her new boyfriend during her appearance on “Let’s Be Honest” on Tuesday, July 2.
While she did not name her partner, the reality star has been romantically linked to Clark, 40, since January.
For their first date, Bristowe recounted that Clark arranged for a driver to pick her up from the airport, as he was working at the time.
The driver took her to his apartment, which she had not visited before, and she waited a short while for him to arrive.
“It was literally like five minutes, I had a coffee,” Bristowe said. Host Kristin Cavallari joked about Bristowe potentially “snooping through his stuff,” to which Bristowe playfully responded, “Looking through his rage pages. I’m like, ‘Nothing? What?’”
Bristowe described the apartment as being in a “great area” and “pretty decent for New York,” adding with a laugh that it “doesn’t have a kitchen that’s in a bedroom.” After meeting at his place, the couple went out for pizza and talked while sitting outside.
Bristowe noted that she wasn’t nervous about the date. “I usually get nervous in situations like that. But, I was just like, ‘Oh, here we go.’
I’m going to know right off the bat if I like him or not. The conversations [are] either going to be good or terrible. I was going into it almost fed up.”
She mentioned that there was immediate “chemistry” between them, though they went through a phase where she questioned, “What am I doing?” However, Bristowe said she eventually felt she “could do this.”
Bristowe stated that they are not planning to “move to each other’s city anytime soon” and are still in the process of getting to “know each other.”
While she described him as “all heart” and “a very good human,” she also expressed curiosity about when the relationship “is going to turn.”
“I’m honestly not sabotaging this. I’ve never been more clear or level-headed or mature or myself,” Bristowe said, noting that they see each other once a month. “It’s just been a really healthy, honest, communicative … It’s nice.”
Bristowe mentioned that she is still dating other people but is not using any dating apps. “It is getting to a place where I’m like, ‘Do I feel bad if I’m hanging out with somebody else?’” she said, adding that Clark is not seeing anyone else.
Bristowe and Clark were first seen together in January, with video footage of them celebrating the New Year appearing on social media.
They have since been spotted together on several occasions, including at a wedding last month, though they have yet to publicly confirm their relationship.
Clark previously appeared as a contestant on season 16 of The Bachelorette, initially featuring Clare Crawley before Tayshia Adams took over.
Clark and Adams, 33, left the show engaged in 2020, and Adams relocated to New York City from California. The couple announced their split in November 2021 after one year together.
Bristowe, on her part, ended her engagement to Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick in August 2023 after four years together.
