The recent autopsy report from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office reveals new details about the death of Christopher Wallace, widely known as The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, who was fatally shot in 1997.
This comprehensive 23-page document offers insights into the circumstances of the shooting, specifics regarding his injuries, and findings from the post-mortem examination.
Despite the detailed information provided, Wallace’s murder remains an infamous unsolved case, continuing to intrigue the public and provoke speculation even more than 15 years after the incident.
At the time of his death, Christopher Wallace had no drugs or alcohol in his system. He stood 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighed 395 pounds, with a tattoo on his right forearm reading:
“The Lord is My Light and my Salvation …”
Wallace’s murder has remained a perplexing case for investigators, with both the Los Angeles police and the FBI investigating but making no arrests. His death occurred just six months after that of his former friend and rival, Tupac Shakur, who was shot in Las Vegas.
This timing has led to speculation that the two killings were connected, potentially linked to a rivalry between East Coast and West Coast hip-hop artists and their respective record labels.
Shakur was associated with Marion “Suge” Knight’s Death Row Records in Los Angeles, while Wallace was signed to New York’s Bad Boy Entertainment. Like Wallace’s, Shakur’s murder also remains unsolved.
