Grimes Who Had Three Kids With Elon Musk Comes Out in Support of Daughter Vivian Wilson

Grimes is expressing her support for Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson.

The musician, 36, publicly praised Wilson on X (formerly known as Twitter) following the 20-year-old’s recent remarks about Musk as a father and her challenge to his claims regarding her transition-related medical treatment.

“I love and am forever endlessly proud of Vivian,” Grimes wrote on X.

In response to a user’s comment about the negative consequences of “changing what God created,” Grimes acknowledged her respect for Christian beliefs but clarified that she does “not hold this worldview.”

“… I too enjoy changing my body with tattoos and stuff,” she commented. “But if we’re made in [God’s] image, and he gave us the capacity to change it, beautify it, make it unique, that is God’s image too.”

“For me God is the universe, not just infinite, but infinite possibility,” she added.

This support comes after Wilson, who legally changed her name and gender in 2022 at age 18, challenged her father’s statements that she was “killed by the woke mind virus” and that he was “tricked” into permitting her transgender-related medical treatment.

“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,” Wilson said in an interview.

“Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”

She also asserted that Musk “knew the full side effects” of her medical treatment, which involved puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy.

Wilson, daughter of Musk and his ex-wife Justine Wilson, also reflected on her childhood with Musk as her father, stating that “he was there, I want to say, maybe 10% of the time.”

“That’s generous. He had half custody, and he fully was not there. It was just a fact of life at the time, so I don’t think I realized just how abnormal of an experience it was,” she said, noting that she had not spoken to her father in about four years.

In addition to Wilson, Musk shares three children with Grimes and three more with Shivon Zilis.
