As of now, Kaylor and Aaron from “Love Island USA” Season 6 are no longer together. Their relationship, which was tumultuous and filled with ups and downs during their time on the show, did not last beyond the series.
Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, who were original islanders on “Love Island USA” Season 6 and coupled up early on, were indeed eliminated just before the finale, finishing in fifth and sixth place.
Despite their strong connection on the show, they have since gone their separate ways.
Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, who were coupled up since day one on “Love Island USA” Season 6, faced drama when Aaron kissed another contestant during Casa Amor.
Although Kaylor forgave him and they stayed together until their elimination, they are no longer together now.
Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans have not officially confirmed their relationship status, but Kaylor hinted at a breakup in a TikTok video on August 11, 2024, where she described herself as “single” and quoted Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City.
She also briefly unfollowed and then refollowed Aaron, which fueled speculation about their split.
On July 31, 2024, Kaylor and Aaron confirmed they were still together during an appearance on the “BFFs” podcast.
However, Kaylor revealed their relationship was strained after she watched the Casa Amor episodes of Love Island USA Season 6.
She expressed that seeing Aaron’s actions from a new perspective, including his interactions with Daniela, had deeply affected her, leaving her emotionally drained.
She continued,
“So leaving and watching it and hearing my girlfriends be like, ‘Kaylor, what the f—? You didn’t stick up for yourself. You weren’t there for you.’ And also I relate to them, because I feel like, most of all, I feel like I wasn’t there for myself and that – it definitely hurt and I definitely feel differently [than] I did in the villa about everything.”
Kaylor admitted that, despite still being together, watching the Casa Amor episodes made her want to “take a step back” from her relationship with Aaron.
She felt that seeing Aaron’s actions during Casa Amor had changed her perspective and made her reconsider their relationship.
“I just wanna take things really slow. I don’t wanna end things, because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real, but I feel like I just gave him chance after chance … and it wasn’t even all of the Casa thing, it was just more so him not taking accountability like Kordell [Beckham] did, which really hurt.” she said.
She continued,
“I don’t wanna give up on us but I definitely have my doubts and I was telling Aaron the other day, I have trust issues now and I don’t wanna be that toxic person in this relationship.”
Aaron expressed on the podcast that he was committed to making his relationship with Kaylor work and was confident they would be able to overcome their issues.
“I’m willing to work through it and I completely understand why Kaylor feels the that way she does. Her feelings are completely valid,” he said.
“I understand why she’s got doubts, I understand why she’s got trust issues, I understand why all of America doesn’t like me because I don’t even like me, watching all the back, I hated watching [those] clips back. It was actually horrible, so I completely understand how and why she feels the way she does.”
Aaron and Kaylor first confirmed they were still together in an Instagram Story following their elimination from Love Island USA Season 6.
He posted a photo of them together on the couch with the caption,
“Thanks for all the support. Starting my villain era.”
They also continued to follow each other on Instagram, indicating their relationship was still intact at that time.
Kaylor also tagged Aaron in her first Instagram post after their elimination on Love Island USA Season 6.
“I am beyond blessed to have been introduced to such amazing people this summer!” she wrote. “I am so grateful to have met such a beautiful group of people who will be my forever family! Thank you all for the support from my emotional breakdowns (litterally every episode) to my dysfunctional self! Love island s6 will forever be a part of my life!”
Kaylor and Aaron’s relationship was still relatively new after their elimination from Love Island USA Season 6.
Voting for the final dumping ended on July 16, 2024, and their elimination aired on July 19, 2024.
This means they had only been out of the villa for a day or two when the episode was released.
Coye Simmons confirmed that episodes air only a few days after they are filmed, highlighting the short timeframe between their departure and the broadcast.
Kaylor and Aaron face the challenge of a long-distance relationship, with Aaron from North Devon, UK, and Kaylor from Connellsville, PA.
Long-distance often contributes to breakups among Love Island couples, with Kyra and Will being the notable exception as they are still together despite being from different countries.
They are unique as both are day one islanders, which is also true for all other Love Island USA couples who remain together.
This commonality might be a positive factor for Kaylor and Aaron’s relationship.
Kaylor and Aaron’s Love Island USA Season 6 cast mate, Liv Walker, also hinted that she doesn’t think Aaron and Kaylor will last.
“I don’t like how he takes her personality of putting others before her for granted. I’ve seen situations where he’ll throw in the word ‘love’ when they’re kind of having a little argument and it’s like, ‘That’s not the right time,’” Liv said.
“I know, maybe, he said it out of emotion and none of us are perfect, but actions do speak louder than words.
And we saw that with Kordell [Beckham and how he handled things post-Casa with Serena Page].”
Live also shaded Aaron for caring more about his friendship with Rob than his relationship with Taylor.
“I feel like because she loves love and she loves Aaron, she will make it work. She’ll probably fly to Europe,” she said. “[When it comes to Aaron], I see actions where he loves her dearly and then I see other actions where I’m like, ‘What are you doing!’ Time will tell. If he can make the effort with Rob, he can make the effort with Kaylor.”
