Is Chi-Town Barbie off the market? Chicago Sky star Angel Reese and Detroit Pistons player Jalen Duren have sparked dating rumors after sharing videos from what appears to be the same vacation spot.
On Tuesday, 20-year-old Duren posted an Instagram Story featuring a video of a sunset from an undisclosed location.
The setting closely resembled the background of a photo Reese, 22, had posted the previous day on her Instagram Stories, where she was lounging in a pink Gucci monokini and pink Chanel sunglasses.
The WNBA star, currently on a break from her 2024 season due to the Paris Olympics, has been single since entering the league in April.
While at Louisiana State University, Reese was linked to Florida State University basketball player Cam’Ron Fletcher.
In June 2023, Reese confirmed on the “1 Star Recruits” podcast that she and Fletcher had been in a relationship, revealing that their mutual understanding of each other’s schedules as athletes was beneficial. The pair, both 22, had known each other for over six years before dating.
Ahead of the 2023-2024 basketball season, Reese and Fletcher took a romantic trip to Jamaica, where they sported matching Balenciaga swimsuits, rode ATVs, and went horseback riding.
Fletcher even commented on a now-deleted post from Reese’s Instagram, saying, “Let’s keep making memories together.”
However, in March, Reese announced that she and Fletcher had ended their relationship.
During an Instagram Live session, she clarified her relationship status, stating, “Yeah, I’m single. I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.”
Reese also emphasized her independence, adding, “I do what’s best for me, that’s it. I’m the catch! Let’s not get it twisted.”
Meanwhile, Duren, who signed a $19,474,944 contract with the Pistons in 2022, keeps his love life private and has not been publicly linked to anyone since entering the NBA.
