Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are still very much together, despite a recent report suggesting otherwise.
Johnson’s representative denied the rumors of a split, clarifying that the report is untrue.
“They are happily together,” the statement confirmed.
Martin and Johnson have been romantically linked since 2017, after they were seen having dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles.
Although they aren’t married, Johnson revealed earlier this year in an interview that she considers herself a stepmother to Martin’s two children, Apple and Moses, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart,” she said in the interview, which was published on March 5.
Paltrow has also publicly expressed her fondness for Johnson. In a 2020 interview, she shared her admiration for the Madame Web star.
“I love her,” Paltrow said. “I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her.”
