The autopsy report indicates that the 25-year-old, identified as Garrison Brown, died from a gunshot wound to the head, with his death ruled a suicide.
Additionally, ethanol intoxication was noted as a contributing factor. His blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.307% from iliac blood analysis and 0.370% from vitreous analysis, significantly above the legal limit of 0.08% and near the potentially fatal threshold of 0.40%.
Garrison, the son of Janelle and Kody Brown, was found dead in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, on March 5.
The autopsy revealed that he died from a gunshot wound to the head, which was ruled a suicide.
In addition to ethanol intoxication, traces of caffeine were also detected in his system at the time of his death.
At the time of Garrison Brown’s death, the Flagstaff Police Department responded to a report of a “death inside a home.”
They confirmed that his brother, Gabriel, 22, discovered Garrison deceased in what appeared to be a suicide.
Lieutenant Charles M. Hernandez II stated that there was no indication of foul play, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were investigating the incident.
Shortly after the news of Garrison Brown’s death, his mother, Janelle, confirmed the tragic news in a statement shared on Instagram.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” she captioned a series of images of her son.
“He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
