Mark Kriski, the morning weather anchor for KTLA, updated viewers on his recovery progress by sharing a video on social media. Kriski experienced a minor stroke in May and has been on the mend since then.

His update aimed to reassure fans and let them know that he is doing well and steadily recovering.

“Hey guys. Really looking forward to getting back to work,” Kriski said in a social media post.

“Doing great. Recovery’s going fantastic. I really miss being at KTLA and I’m really looking forward to getting back there as soon as possible.”

KTLA shared on social media that Mark Kriski suffered a minor stroke earlier this week.

The station mentioned that he is “in good spirits” and looking forward to returning to work soon. They also made a brief announcement on air, updating viewers about his condition and expressing support for his recovery.

Mark Kriski has been a part of the KTLA Morning News team since 1991 and is described in his official bio as:

“One of the last-remaining original ‘characters’ from the show’s inception.”

Throughout his career, he has won nine Emmy Awards and has appeared in films like Speed and Speed 2, as well as TV shows including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 7th Heaven, and Everybody Hates Chris.
