Sutton Stracke is shifting her focus away from dating to concentrate on her career. The 52-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star discussed how her life has evolved and how she has gained more independence since her ex-husband Christian relocated overseas.
“My ex-husband moved to London, and it’s been more challenging than I expected,” she confessed, mentioning that the situation has been particularly difficult with one of her sons attending school in the U.K. Stracke added,
“He’ll be home any day now, but it’s interesting because my son and I have grown very close. We spend every day and night together, and while it’s been fun, you figure things out, and everything’s good.”
Currently, Stracke shared that she’s “really busy with my business,” and although fans might see her “talk about men a lot” in the upcoming season of RHOBH, she hasn’t been dating.
“I don’t have a lot of time for it,” she explained. “I’m really dating my business and enjoying it. I do get frustrated often because the learning curve is quite steep, but I’m also balancing home life and friendships.”
Stracke and her ex-husband Christian divorced in 2016 after 16 years of marriage. The former couple shares a daughter, Porter, and two sons, James and Philip.
In season 13 of RHOBH, the reality star openly discussed finding her independence and chasing her own dreams following Christian’s move.
Speaking at her fashion show, Stracke also reflected on stepping into her power and her approach to the upcoming season of the hit reality series.
“It’s always great to be with a group of smart and business-savvy women,” she said. “I’ve learned a lot from these women over the past five years, and I’ve really come into my own.”
Since joining RHOBH in season 10 in 2019, Stracke noted that she feels she has “really found my voice.” She added, “I think becoming stronger as a businesswoman has made me stronger as a person.”
Filming for season 14 of RHOBH is currently underway, with two new additions to the cast. Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, a renowned author, podcaster, and marketing executive, along with Jennifer Tilly, a beloved actress who has made guest appearances on the show, will join the returning cast members Stracke, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, and Garcelle Beauvais.
