Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is reportedly “stable” after being involved in an electric bicycle accident.
A source informed that “his mom is with him,” referring to Jolie, who is by his side.
The incident occurred on Monday, July 29, when Pax reportedly crashed into a car while riding his electric bike in Los Angeles during rush hour.
According to law enforcement sources, the accident happened around 5 p.m. local time. Pax allegedly collided with the back of a car stopped at a red light.
Witnesses indicated that he was not wearing a helmet and experienced hip pain and a head injury from the crash. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital in L.A.
Along with Pax, Jolie, 49, and Pitt, 60, share five other children: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
News of Pax’s accident coincides with legal developments involving his younger sister, Shiloh. She was set to appear in court regarding her request to remove Pitt’s last name, but the hearing has been postponed.
Shiloh’s attorney, Peter Levine, explained that the delay was due to the court’s inability to complete a background check in time for the scheduled hearing.
The new court date is set for August 19, as such checks are standard procedure in name-change requests.
Shiloh filed to legally drop Pitt from her surname on her 18th birthday, having hired her own lawyer for the matter.
According to a source, Pitt was “devastated” by Shiloh’s decision, viewing it as more than a mere name change but a sign of a deeper estrangement that had been growing over the years.
Shiloh is the third of Jolie and Pitt’s children to opt for using only Jolie as their surname amid the ongoing custody disputes between the former couple. Zahara and Vivienne have previously done the same.
Jolie and Pitt, who married in 2014 after nine years together, separated in 2016 following an alleged incident on an airplane involving their children.
While Pitt was cleared of any wrongdoing after an investigation into child abuse, their divorce remains unresolved as they continue to dispute custody and the ownership of their Chateau Miraval winery in France.
