Angela and Michael initially ended their relationship in January 2023. However, by March 2023, they had reconciled, with reports confirming their reunion.
“Michael did cheat on her, and Angela got back with him,” the source told.
Just a few short months later, Angela seemingly confirmed that she and Michael were back together, posting a cryptic stitched photo of the two of them alongside a heart emoticon on Instagram with the caption, “QUEEN HAS SPOKEN.”
As of September 2024, Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi’s relationship is still a topic of intrigue among fans.
Despite numerous ups and downs, including infidelity scandals, trust issues, and public feuds, the couple has made significant efforts to work through their problems.
Their journey has been documented extensively on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? and 90 Day: The Last Resort. They faced a major test on The Last Resort, where Angela confronted Michael with divorce papers but ultimately chose to work through their issues in therapy.
Both expressed a desire to mend their relationship, with Michael apologising for his past mistakes and Angela showing a willingness to forgive.
Despite these efforts, the couple’s relationship remains strained, as seen in their interactions and public statements.
Angela and Michael continue to grapple with trust issues and communication problems, but they are still together, working to resolve their differences.
Angela captioned the reposted article with “#Truthwillshine.”
In a follow-up comment, she added,
“I will say this. It doesn’t matter if the truth is told; we live in a time where people applaud the wrong until it affects them or their family, and then they post that s–t.”
Angela and Michael’s relationship took a dramatic turn with Angela filing for annulment on June 20, 2024.
In her filing, Angela claimed that Michael had fraudulently induced her into marriage to gain U.S. residency. Despite their appearances on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” and the ongoing portrayal of their relationship in the media, their split was confirmed in August 2024.
“After [Michael] abandoned [Angela], [Angela] discovered that [Michael] was engaged in a conspiracy with other Nigerian men to induce U.S. citizens into marriage for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status,” she added in the petition.
“There are no minor children as issues of this marriage, and none are expected.”
In her annulment filing, Angela requested that her last name be restored to Deem and asked for Michael to cover some of her attorney fees and court costs.
She also noted her difficulties in locating Michael at the time of the filing, highlighting the ongoing issues in their separation process.
