Josh Allen recently spoke about publicly acknowledging his relationship with actress Hailee Steinfeld. The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, appeared on Up & Adams with Kay Adams to discuss football, but he couldn’t resist expressing his admiration for his girlfriend, with whom he officially went public on Instagram late last month.
During the conversation, Adams, 38, jokingly referred to Allen as “Mr. Hard Launch” and sought more details about the NFL star’s romance with the Dickinson actress.
“We love love,” Allen said, smiling widely, prompting Adams to respond, “That is one happy quarterback! They’re going to win the Super Bowl, see you later.”

Allen and Steinfeld, 27, were first linked in May 2023, shortly after Allen’s breakup with his girlfriend of eight years, Brittany Williams. At that time, Allen and Steinfeld were seen together in New York City and later spotted having sushi.
In the following month, a source told that the couple “laugh a ton when they’re together [and] are always smiling” and that “Josh is the first guy in a while she’s been really interested in.
After more than a year of speculation, Allen and Steinfeld made their relationship official on July 23 when Allen shared a series of photos on Instagram, captioning them “Onward.”
The images included Steinfeld snuggling up to Allen in front of the Eiffel Tower during their April vacation in Paris.
Another photo showed a recent family gathering, where Steinfeld posed with Allen’s parents, Joel and LaVonne, as well as his siblings, Jason, Nicala, and Makenna. Steinfeld was also featured in a solo shot, seemingly window shopping in jeans, a gray trench coat, and a beanie.
Fans quickly reacted positively to the couple’s Instagram debut, with one fan commenting, “First we hard launch the girl, then we win the Super Bowl.” Another fan added, “Thank you for making Hailee happy!”
The Edge of Seventeen actress was previously linked to influencer Cameron Smoller from 2016 to 2017 and dated One Direction’s Niall Horan in 2018.
In a January interview, Steinfeld spoke about dating in the public eye and why she often keeps her personal life private.
“I feel so lucky that [my fans] care enough about me to know what I’m doing every second of every day,” she said, “but I think that sometimes it’s hard for people in general to realize that there are boundaries to a person’s life and personal life.”
The Oscar nominee added, “I am a very private person. I do love that I have the opportunity to share with them what I’m comfortable with and they’re there to listen and support me.”
